Last day! of

OK, I'll confess, I didn't do the brooches today or even this month, but I was thinking today that I had never done a post about them, so here they are. I have been creating today but I cannot show you as it may spoil the surprise for someone, but all will be revealed later next month.

Patterned Windows

aedmlogored
Day 29. Click on the box for the link.

I took some photos of the conservatory windows last weekend. Strange you may ask. Well they had lovely icy patterns, very leaf/vine like. I spent some time altering them so they will make lovely backgrounds for something in the future.

On the picture below I only altered the contrast and did some cropping.

This one is almost as it was too, the photos were originally blue probably because they are roof windows and the sky was at the other side.

Printer's Drawer

I thought I would share with you images of my printer's tray complete with the junk [treasure] it holds. It gets very dusty and as I had given it a rare treat, a clean and polish, I took some photos.

More pages from sketchbook 24

Two of my sketchbooks I am using at the moment have awful paper in them. I used this sheet as a bleed through sheet and when I thought there was enough marks on it I painted over it with brusho inks. I drew on some zentangley doodles at the side with a liner pen.

I collaged till receipts on the page, painted it then drew on the chair and lion. The bird is also a drawing/painting but was collaged on.

I drew round a circular object to make a pattern and it grew from there.... [brush pens]

brush pens, liner pens, watercolour paints

I used a biscuit cutter for the shapes.
