Friday Catch Up 24Dec21

My Granddaughter likes dressing up so I thought I would alter a small bag of mine that I don't use. I painted it with acrylics. I didn't come out like I had it in my mind, I was in a rush and didn't plan it out on paper like I should have. I decided to leave the strap as it was just in case the paint comes off.

Handmade Gifts

I made quite a few of these caravan tree decorations, even one for myself.

The sections of these pot holders/coasters were hand stitched. I made them up on the machine with a backing and thermal wadding.

I also altered a girls school shirt into a vet outfit for my Granddaughter to match the vet kit my daughter has bought for her. I used tea-shirt transfers.

Friday Catch Up 26Nov21

 I finished the quiet book for Bethany. I did have a few problems with the cover but I'll say no more about it. I used a magnetic fastener and rings inside the book to hold the pages together, The fabric for the cover is one of my designs as are quite a few of the pages inside.

I was reading about an alternative to wax crayons and decided to buy some.

They are called Bambino and have a clay content. They are smoother and not messy like wax crayons but they are more expensive. Below is my sample drawing with the product.
