Take a Stitch Tuesday - 59 - Breton stitch.
I used a hand painted/stamped fabric for the background and I stitched over the ric rac ribbon like couching. I decided to do the stitch in a meandering kind of way like the ribbon.
Take a Stitch Tuesday - 60 - Diamond stitch.
I used a hand painted/stamped fabric for the background and layered painted laces. The pearl thread normally looks quite thick but it looks thin here. I attached flower sequins and beads too.

Linda, you are the Queen of layering. You really have a knack for marrying fabric with lace, ribbons, beads and thread.
