The photograph was taken in Cannes. I used my tablet to paint the figure.
I painted four square patterns on my tablet using the same colours on each then transferred them to my computer and joined them together to make one repeating pattern. It didn't look that great with the colours I first used but I changed them and I think it has made all the difference.

Adding the shadow of the figure on the beach makes it much more realistic.

A shadow was missing from the previous post so I thought i would rectify that mistake.
