Watercolours on watercolour paper. I tried to copy something out of a book for this one.

WIP - English Paper Piecing Patchwork
I've sewn another batch of hexies together to make another bag. I'm doing this one a bit different in that I have joined all the hexies together to make a hoop so they will be no plain fabric at the sides. I'm making it up as I go along, so we'll have to see if it works. I've used a range of scraps from vintage, [I think the oldest maybe over 50 years] and up to date fabrics.

I was trying to do a picture with reflections.
All are beautiful and colorful-but the first one is amazing.
ReplyDeleteReally nice post.
ReplyDeleteI especially like your first one, the trees, shadows and colours all look great and in your last one the reflections work well.
All the best Jan
Ohhh all of the art is beautiful but that first piece. WOW.
ReplyDeleteWhen I see your hexagon bag I feel tempted to start a hexagon project myself...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful art and sewing. My necked have been in a bag for 20 years, one of these days....Love 'twisted'. Enjoy your evening, Valerie
ReplyDeleteYou FPP pieces are so colourful and really lovely watercolours! Beautiful colours in the first one, and I specially like the reflection in the last one.
