For World Watercolour Month

I tried to copy a painting in an art book, it's not the same but I like it. This one was done on watercolour paper.

This next one was painted in a sketchbook, the paper is not watercolour paper.
I was inspired by a vintage tin with the willow pattern on it.

I was trying to follow the prompt - shine - for this one.
the cup and saucer are totally wrong and it doesn't shine. I do have this cup, I made a little garden with mushroom house made from felt, fabric, embroidery, beads and sequins.

It's Friday so that means Paint Party Friday!
Have a nice weekend!

  3. I love all three! The first one is very serene, beautiful mix of colours and it's nice and loose! I am envious! :) I love your blueberry tree! (or at least that's what it looks like to me!) The mushroom house in the teacup is so creative!

  4. Your rendition of a mushroom house in a cup reminds me so much of a pincushion I have, and another I made in a bowl. Your painting is wonderful, do you actually have this in a cup, saucer, felt, and fabric., etc?

    1. Yes I really do have the felt mushroom garden in a cup. I made it at a workshop given by an arty friend.
