Friday Catch Up 4Feb22

Another exercise for the illustration course I am doing. We had to choose an artwork then do lots of versions of it, starting similar and them altering it in someway and using different media. I chose a self portrait by Frida Khalo painted in 1940. The original version by Frida is shown at the end.

Watercolour

Watercolour and pen

Thin acrylic applied with a dip pen

Sketching sticks [similar to charcoal only fatter]

Textured paper, clay colouring crayons

Textured paper, inktense pencils, water

Various green pens

Ink and pen

The original by Frida Khalo
