Doodlewash Art Challenge & Friday Face Off
8. Clock

10. Dragon. I didn't know where to start with a dragon so I watched a 'how to' YouTube video. Mine is a different colour.
11. Limb
12. Morning Glory
 9. Pattern - I was painting with my granddaughter using cheap metallic paints. I made a pattern with the colours then cut it up and rearranged it. I cut out birds from another sheet to collage on top.

  2. Hi Linda. I wish I could watch you create. You have such a beautiful style and your use of color has always impressed me. Plus all of the creature you come up with. Your art makes me happy. That Morning Glory is gorgeous and I do love the backgrounds too. The photos are great! I love that kitchen but I wouldn't want to have to cook there. The highchair brings back memories. We had one just like it. That horse is just to funny. Thank you for sharing all of this with FFO and have a very nice weekend.

  5. You have such a lot to show, and always enjoyable to see.
The western dragon is quite different from the Asian one, which is more of a scaly snake with horns, whiskers and no wings. Instead of flying, it rises and wriggles itself upwards. The legs are just short stumps, but have prominent claws. The dragon is usually depicted clutching a (golden) ball and is breathing smoke, but emitting no fire.
I wouldn't know where to start drawing one, either!
I like your bird collages - could be a good Spoonflower pattern?
There is something very charming about the 1950's village. Everything looks small and a bit cramped, but also cosy and handy.

  8. I love the dragon-he's great. Your photos are fabulous. I was wondering if I could paint your photo of that little stove in the kitchen? It is so cute-of course it is fine if you decline.
