Another stitched face. I stuck to just black threads and a little applique for this one.
Next I tried Inktense blocks on fabric, no stitching
I outlined this one with black marker
Gelli Print Book - I've used an old cookery book to use some of the gelli prints I've been doing. I removed some of the pages so that it wouldn't get too thick and also added some collaged pieces.
Back cover
The little picture was a drawing/collage I saw of a doll on Pinterest
The face is the fabric one I showed you last time
Another drawing of a doll I saw on Pinterest
Some things I cut out on my cutting machine
The figure is part digital print of a photo and the arms are from a magazine.

Whatever media you have used, the faces look so real. I feel as if I have seen every one of these men some time, somewhere in the world.
ReplyDeleteYour gelli prints are so nice. Is it still possible to read the recipes of the cookery book underneath the paint?
Queenie
No you cannot see the recipes of the book, the gelli prints have been glued to the pages.
