For the large flowers I used watercolours, the centre rectangle is glossy photo printer paper painted with acrylic markers

I arranged the daffodils after using them for gelli-printing.

The one above was done on a silicone mat rather than a gelli plate, think I need a bit more practice.

This poor soul has a seat on the floor. It's a rag and bone sculpture highlighting the issue of homelessness.

Friday Catch Up - 28th March 2025

Inktense blocks and Pencils on fabric. I tried using hand sanitizer gel to stop the paint running. It kind of worked but left marks where I'd put it, perhaps I should put it all over.

I had another go at the grand children, it is a bit better but not great. Elliot's blue tongue is from an ice lolly.

I was trying different types of pen, wax crayon etc to gelli print.

Doodlewash Art Challenge

This one is of my Granddaughter which I'm not totally happy with. I did one of my other two Grandkids together but that was totally unsuccessful. I prefer doing old wrinkly people.

I also used a few cut outs [my designs], cut on my KNK Zing cutting machine

Cut out bird, collaged house

I cut the rabbits from an old calendar, they are hard to see

Mainly printed using textured wallpaper to make the patterns

The creature is a drawing of a doll I saw on Pinterest

Cut out penguins and a made up creature [polio or liobear] from magazine photos

Endre Church, Visby Sweden

Endre Church is one of the 92 medieval churches on the island of Gotland and was built in the 12th century

The frescos inside the church were made by the artist known as the Master of the Passion of Christ in the middle of the 15th century. The frescos were uncovered during a renovation in 1915.

Also at Visby, Sweden is the Gotland Heritage Railway

I've been visiting Dundee, Sweden and Denmark while on a cruise, the ship was docked at Visby, Sweden for this pic.

Next stop will be Stockholm
