It's the time of year for daffodils.
That's all today. I can't believe that it is almost February already.

Looking at all of your amazing catch up art and then, stop. The portrait you created is simply gorgeous. You capture this woman perfectly. All those wonderful wrinkles, her expression, her hand and right down to the nose ring. Just brilliant. I'm so very impressed. I too love that horse. What a wonderful place. Thank you for joining FFO and the portrait challenge. Have a very nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday. I like your portrait of the lady.
ReplyDeleteGreat hand made art 🤩 ; and love the doll house photos 👧
ReplyDeleteThere are some fantastic seats at Wallington, and who wouldn't love to have a doll's house like that?
ReplyDeleteQueenie
I enjoyed looking at all your art and photos, but you did an especially great job on the old lady! I've seen that old lady before, but in a different photo. she is so distinctive though, I recognized her immediately.
ReplyDeleteWhat an uplifting and delightful post! I love the drawing of that woman and the doodlewashes. I always love seeing furniture doors. I wish it was time to see daffodils, but they'd have to push through a lot of snow at the moment. Not sad to see January leave. I hope you have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteNo daffodils in my area yet. This morning it is -25 degrees C outside. Brrr. But I am blown away by your portrait. It is really really lovely. Happy weekend.
ReplyDeleteI don't think we've even got snowdrops yet!
ReplyDeleteYour photos are interesting. Love the doodlewash too!
ReplyDeleteEagerly awaiting daffodils! We did see a flock of geese heading north this afternoon. They could be confused though haha
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed seeing all your artwork and photos. The variety from insects to dolls’ houses makes it such a fun and inspiring roundup.
ReplyDeleteSome wonderful scenes and drawings Lin. I like the wheelie horse, the wardrobe doors, windows and the peacock spider drawing
