Doodlewash Art Challenge / Friday Face Off
Cheetah using watercolours and coloured pencils
Leopard - I fully covered the page with doodle type drawings using outline markers, then drew the leopard on top with acrylic painting pens.
I altered two gelli prints in Photoshop with some of my cutter patterns
Photo Challenges
I went away to Scalby, Near Scarborough for four nights with my two sisters so the photos are from there. Unfortunately it was cold and rather wet for a lot of the time but we still enjoyed ourselves.
Notice the church window peeking through the trees. It looked like the graves were making their way down the slope
There are four benches in the photo above although they are hard to see
The seats in the courtyard of the house we were staying in showing the hail stones.
My flowers of the week are the pretty blue Forget Me Not on the graves
That's all for this week. Hope you enjoy next week!

Lovely art and photos
ReplyDeleteLots of great windows to discover Lin. Not only on the distant church, but on that house with it's dormer windows and weird door to nowhere and the big circular one in the hail stones photo.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining in Monday Window 😀
Hello Lin
ReplyDeleteLovely photographs from your visit to Scalby, Near Scarborough ... nice to get away with your sisters.
I do like your cheetah and leopard you've shared here.
Enjoy the weekend and have a great week ahead.
All the best Jan
OMGosh these cats are amazing. The eyes on the Cheetah and the detail on the leopard are fabulous. The patterns that you altered are so hypnotizing. The colors are rich. Very nice finds on the windows and doors too. Thank you for sharing with FFO and don't forget to link up. Have a very nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love the doodles, drawings, doors and photos. Great post :-)
ReplyDeleteI like how you altered those Gelli prints, and wow, that's really cool how all the forget me nots grew on that grave. It's the perfect flower name for a grave too.
ReplyDeleteOh, what a lot of interesting pictures!
ReplyDeleteI have missed your gelli prints, so I loved seeing this altered one.
Even the church window looks like a gravestone.
I hope no sleepwalkers are living in that house!
How lovely the duvets of Forget Me Not are!

Sorry I'm late visiting. What stunning photos. The gel prints were amazing and the cats were impressive.
ReplyDeleteReally alarming hailstones there - I hope no bruises ensued!
ReplyDeleteThe cat faces are really wonderful. I like the background you have created for them too. The photo with the Forget Me Not on the graves is beautiful.

Your Leopard turned out magnificent. The background just enhances his lovely face. Also your photos are beautiful. Especially enjoyed the one of the church and the graves on the hill. Have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteEven though it was cold and wet you seem to have caught some beautiful sun breaks.
