Friday Catch Up - 5th December 2025

Doodlewash Art Challenge / Friday Face Off
29. Reflection, 30. Sweater
28. Cocoa
December 1. Covered Bridge, 2. Mouse, 3. Wreath
Sorry for the lousy photo [ reflection from glass]

Collage -
the tree on the green area was made by scoring some spongelike packing material. I used a punch for circles made from collected bits [ painted backgrounds etc] I should have extended the green background

Stitching, English Paper Piecing, Stuffed Hare. Finished at last. I used the Hendricks hare pattern, although I altered the front legs as the existing pattern didn't suit EPP. It was difficult to sew on the limbs because of all the layers, such as the folds on the hexagons. If you want to see other hares I made in 2023 here is the link. I'll not be making any more. This one took a long time to do because of the English Paper Piecing and I got a bit bored so I didn't keep at it. I'm thinking of naming her Mehetabel which was the name of one of my Grandmothers, I can't remember her as she died when I was young but I've never come across anyone with that name.

  6. The snowman sweater looks very festive.
I am glad you persevered and finished the hare. Using EPP must have been a hard task, but the result is indeed charming.
