I'm continuing with my endangered species book and this time I have chosen frogs. They are very small but can be deadly.
This golden poison frog is only two inches in size but has enough venom to kill ten grown men.
It's Friday so that means it is Friday Face Off
You painted frogs very well. I wonder how they are endangered although the have such power of poison...may be just for it 🤔
ReplyDeleteSome are kept for their poison but other reasons they are endangered is because of loss of habitat, pollution, infectious diseases, climate change, global trade etc
DeleteThese are so good!
ReplyDeleteOhhhh these are excellent. I mean really wonderfully done. Thank you for sharing them with FFO and have a very nice day today.
ReplyDeleteHow do they disperse their poison? Do frogs have teeth? Stingers?

It's on their skin so dangerous to touch.
DeleteThose frog drawings are amazing. It is also amazing that frogs can carry so much poison in their skin, but it works great for them. Happy weekend.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know these existed. Your artwork is lovely.
ReplyDeleteThey look very sweet, considering how dangerous they are!
ReplyDeleteA poison that potent is scary ... but your frogs are beautiful and I hate that they, like so many other species, are endangered. I don't think man realizes that he will be the one who is endangered if he doesn't change his ways ...

Considering how dangerous they are, I think they look cute!
ReplyDeleteLooks can be deceptive!
All the best Jan

Wonderful drawings!!!
ReplyDeleteYour artwork is quite wonderful, and the fact that it draws our attention to endangered species makes it all the more commendable. Sadly, the endangered species list continues to grow.
