Friday Catch Up 11th July 2025

I've been lucky enough to have been away again, this time in Crete.
I haven't done any Doodlewash work at all. But I've still got some of the gelli print book that I have not shared yet.

And I'm linking with Friday Face Off

Yesterday I managed to do a small lino print using soft sculpt. I've altered it a bit since then but have not printed it yet. I get a bit messy with the ink and get it on the back which is not good if I want to send it as a gift card. I'm fairly new to this technique and would like to do more and improve hopefully.

Photo Challenges
Flower of the Day - Peony
Monday Window - a bus at Beamish Museum. I grew up in Doncaster but I no longer live there.
Thursday Doors or in this case a gate in Washington, UK
Pull up a Seat - The balcony of the apartment we stayed in at Crete with fabulous views over the sea.

I'm away again with my two sisters for a few days next week in England, a girlie break.
I'll be back in two weeks. Enjoy your time.

  1. Wow! I love this post. All the wonderful art and the print is awesome. I don't think I have ever seen a pink peony before. The photos are great! Thank you for sharing with FFO and have a nice weekend.

I love the hidden and semi-hidden creatures in your gelli prints.
Why is it that old vehicles are so charming?

  6. I'm loving your journal and your photos too. I'd like to be sitting on that deck too. It's looks great. But a walk in the grassy woods wouldn't be so bad either. Have a great time away. hugs-Erika

  11. Lovely journal pages and photos. I think the bird looks great! A little background noise makes it look more natural.
