I drew this orangutan for a lino print but then changed my mind about doing it. All the black areas are the parts that are not removed from the lino.
Doodlewash - I've done a couple of watercolour paintings but not many of the prompts 'grabbed' me enough to do more.

I've been looking after Molly this week, she's getting old and struggles to walk sometimes, poor thing.

Flower of the Day [no idea what it is called]
That's all today, I do have more photos of Staithes which I'll share next time.
Enjoy your week!
Your art always makes me so happy. You are so talented. Also Molly is a face to love. Great photos too. Thank you for joining FFO and have a great weekend.

Staithes looks like a lovely place to wander Lin. The penguin made me laugh
ReplyDeleteQué bonitos. Me quito el sombrero, son geniales. Un abrazo y feliz fin de semana
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely collection of images.
ReplyDeleteCould the plant be Woodland Sage?
ReplyDeleteStaithes looks very picturesque. I wonder what it's like in winter...?
Maybe the prompts did not grab you, but you let the mermaid and the penguin grab a lot of fruit.
Queenie
Actually I found out that the plant is called Agastache. I've not been to Staithes in winter, probably very cold.
DeletePoor Molly 😥
ReplyDeleteEspecially the door painting is my favorite; well done 👏
Oh Poor Molly. She's so cute. And nice lino style gorilla. Today's photos are very nice, especially the first one and the lobster (?) pot one. Have a super weekend.
ReplyDeleteAwwww....sweet Molly. Your photos are beautiful and I love the art as well!
ReplyDeleteMolly still looks as though she enjoys life!
ReplyDeleteI love that orangutan Lino print. I often do my Christmas cards by using a hand carved Lino motif, but mine aren't as intricate as yours. The mermaid and Pinguin are so cute. Happy FFO! Arnoldo+ @ https://arnoldolromero.blogspot.com/2025/08/reach-out-to-others.html
