TAST - week 22 - Triple Chain Stitch

Take a stitch Tuesday - the stitch this week is triple chain. I thought I would do my sample while I was at a friend's house and I thought I remembered how to do it, but it appears I have done it slightly different to how it was done on the TAST site. I also sewed on some flower sequins and beads [below]. I did another one following the instructions [above]. I've also sewn on some dyed lace and flower sequins and beads. As usual I have stuck the samples in my altered book.

  1. I think what you have done is good, and what a good idea to use up bits of dyed laces....Would you mind if I used this idea, I have a lot of "stuff" that I need to find a use for or it will go to the tip when I am gone but they might keep a sampler book if I make one.

  2. Thanks Shirley, I don't mind at all if you used the idea. Much more fun when you can use some of your 'stuff' than having to chuck it. Go for it!

  5. What a huge difference it makes whether you put the stitches just on a simple piece of cloth - as I do - or you stage the stitches - as you do. I love very much what you do.
