Working Woman

I combined a photo, a vintage image and a drawing.
The photo is Joe the quilter's cottage at Beamish, the vintage image is the woman's body and the drawing is the face.

Pages 31-34 from Sketchbook 60

I started the page with a bit of texture, I used one of my card cut outs as a stencil and mark maker.
The puffins were from a brochure

This bird was painted

The white areas are where I applied a resist [it was an old lip salve which i didn't like].

The Elk's Adventures

My elk was copied from a medieval elk made of stone I think.

He's in Bessie Surtees House in Newcastle

A balancing act at Happisburgh, Norfolk

In the 'junk' room at Chillingham Castle

Watching the horses in a field at Beamish

Who knows where he is here.

I'm joining in with Paint Party Friday this week. Click on the link to see more art works.

Elliot's T-Shirt, Swatch

I used Elliot's drawing swatch sample to decorate a t-shirt for him.
A swatch I missed out from the last set was this Marrakesh inspired design.
The repeat pattern shown first then the actual fabric swatch. The design can be made smaller on the Spoonflower shop page.

Animal Cuts

Hi, I'm back, I've had a lovely time in Sorrento.
I created these a while ago.
They were all drawn on my tablet and cut with my digital printer - KNK Zing Air.
Painted backgrounds.
These were just try outs on card saved for recycling, hence the strange coloured animals.
