Flowers in Norfolk
I drew the flower on my tablet. I altered the colour on my computer and planted several nexe to this boardwalk in Norfolk.

Cat, Doodle, Llamas and Alpacas
The cat was drawn on a tablet and cut on a digital cutting machine using some recycled card to see what it came out like. The white areas around the whiskers are not quite right.
A tablet doodle.
I've been drawing animals found in the book '20 Ways to Draw a Cat and 44 other awesome animals' by Julia Kuo as drawing practice and I think the animals in it are delightful.

Crochet and Drawings
I decided to take up crochet recently. I have done crochet years ago when I made lots of granny squares for a blanket but I've never followed a pattern before. I'm making a toy bunny for my expected Grandchild in May. I'm thinking maybe I should have made something straight/easier because there is lots of adding stitches and reducing stitches and some bits are small and fiddly. The yellow yarn is old yarn I had been practicing on. You wouldn't believe the number of times I had to undo it and start again but I think I've got the hang of it now. Basically I just wasn't reading correctly what was on the page.

Cushions, George and Rhino's
A couple of cushions I made for my daughter who likes designs from the 40's, 50's and 60's including those of Lucienne Day. I designed these after looking closely at her work and had the fabric printed at Spoonflower. [this fabric is not for sale]
This is George. He was printed on our 3D printer and painted by my talented brother Martin who has the real dog called George. I think I shall have to get Martin to paint all our 3D prints as he made such a good job of it. My 3D painting always looks very crude.

Gelli Prints Revisited
In December I did some Gelli prints that I was a bit disappointed with [see here] to be honest, but I've used them here as digital backgrounds. The trees, bird, hippo and shapes are all older work, I had previously created them for use with my cutting machine.
I'm joining in with Paint Party Friday, are you?

Monkeys and Apes
I'm trying to improve my drawing skills so thought I would copy all the drawings in the book '20 Ways to Draw a Cat and 44 other awesome animals' by Julia Kuo. I have used this book in the past but have usually copied the easy looking drawings or the ones that appealed to me most. As a challenge I am aiming to draw all the animals in the book even if they look complicated. I don't think I have drawn any of these before.

Teal Collection of Fabrics.
I've done another collection of fabrics. I like the wallpaper I have in my cloakroom and wanted to use similar colours to that so this is what I came up with.
These are photos of the actual fabric swatches which are about 8" square.
