My Flower of the Week is a Zulu Prince Cape Daisy seen in a friends garden

Also in the same garden we hung our experiments to dry from a workshop of Suminagashi or Japanese Water Printing. I'll come back to that sometime I hope.

I asked AI to make the image into a scary hare

This is the rose image before adding the hare, I don't think I still have the photo of the rose before altering. It was combined with a gelli print.

As you can see I have no paintings this week, we've had the grandchildren staying again.

Flower of the Week

My daughter brought me a giant stalk of sunflowers. I cut the branches so they would fit in a vase. Quite a few of them are facing down instead of up at the moment.

Friday Catch Up - 7th August 2026

Friday Face Off / Doodlewash Art Challenge

This is the only watercolour I managed to do this week because we had the grandchildren staying and I was doing other stuff. I took a picture of the orangutans from a TV program called Orangutan Jungle School., they look so cute on that but I'm afraid they look awful on my painting.

I added a stencil [digitally] on an older gelli print .

I added my photo of a wasp to this altered gelli print.
