Friday Catch Up - 19 01 2024

 Doodlewash Watercolour Challenge

Friday Face Off

13. Ice skates, 16. Flamingo

14. Hollyhock, 15. Magnifying glass

I got a gift of a handmade sketchbook from a friend and I've started the first pages with a collage

I do Wordle and other word puzzles and I like a piece of scrap paper to write on. The flowers are made from this paper and then I coloured with paint and cut them out. behind them is a piece of paper used as as something to rest on while painting. I also stencilled and stamped it with various things I had. On the lower page the circles were cut with a punch from an old greetings card

The bird and stripy bottom were quick doodles I painted while I was watching my Granddaughter painting. They were separate paintings, the top area was lining from an envelope

Pen Doodles on a used Envelope

which is included in this collage together with recycled greetings card, graph paper and pen doodles

  6. This is such a fun post! I love the flamingo on skates. I enjoy the other doodles and drawings. I'm thinking your granddaughter is in a very good place to develop her painting skills.

The windows are wonderful. I like windows as much as (maybe a little more than) doors. I guess it really the architecture I like.

The doors are also wonderful. The first one looks like they asked you to paint it :-)
