Feathery Friends

Another new sketchbook, A3 size. 
It's not very good paper for watercolour paint that is why the sky is so messy [but I quite like the messy look of it.]
I started with an ink drawing.

I first used this book in May 2014 on one page. 
Then I didn't use it until April 2015 and this is what I did.
I like the work of Charlie Harper and these were my attempts at copying.

As you can see I was using decorative patterns on birds then too.

I'm linking with Paint Party Friday and I've just seen that my work from last Friday is featured there.

    I kind of like the "messy" look too. Made me think of crumpled paper. Your Charlie Harper style birds are beautiful. Lovely movements. Also, a very sweet duck :)
