Friday Catch Up 08 09 2023

I painted some leaves this week to alter a Frida Kahlo painting I did a while back.
This is the original painting after I altered the butterfly as it didn't stand out enough

The leaves were separated and arranged in photoshop, I included the Frida painting and it is now a repeating pattern for fabric. I can't make my mind up whether I like it or not.

Monarda Squaw

Some of them have stalks with flowers growing from another flower head below.

Altered Doodle
I used pens for the original doodle
I altered the rest in Photoshop using neural filters

  3. I like your Frida collage. The leaves really enhance it. The whole thing has a very totemic ane mysterious feel to it.

LOVE that doodle art. I like how you digitally altered the colors in PS, too. Simply marvelous, Linda.

  7. Your art often features plants, flowers, leaves and other things from Mother Nature. You are really good at it and I guess it is a deep-rooted love for all things natural that encourages you.

  9. Sometimes it's too soon to be certain of a design when you've just finished it. In a day or two you will know whether you like your Frieda Kahlo pattern or not!
