I painted some leaves this week to alter a Frida Kahlo painting I did a while back.
This is the original painting after I altered the butterfly as it didn't stand out enough
The leaves were separated and arranged in photoshop, I included the Frida painting and it is now a repeating pattern for fabric. I can't make my mind up whether I like it or not.

Oh I like these drawings today. They remind me of tropical places, and I definitely can see your Frida inspiration. I hope you had a super weekend. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteI like your Frida collage. The leaves really enhance it. The whole thing has a very totemic ane mysterious feel to it.
ReplyDeleteI love that new Frida art and the new leaves. Wonderful indeed. I think it makes a great fabric.
ReplyDeleteLOVE that doodle art. I like how you digitally altered the colors in PS, too. Simply marvelous, Linda.
Really well done! I so admire your talents and skills.
ReplyDeleteOh I love your art. The face is wonderful. I'm in a rush with yard sale. Thank you for joining FFO. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteYour art often features plants, flowers, leaves and other things from Mother Nature. You are really good at it and I guess it is a deep-rooted love for all things natural that encourages you.

Beautiful work. You are very good at the digital stuff-wish I could learn that!
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's too soon to be certain of a design when you've just finished it. In a day or two you will know whether you like your Frieda Kahlo pattern or not!
