Hope you've had a good start to the new year.
Doodlewash Art Challenge
January 1. Polar Bear, 2. Cream Puff
3. Pega Donkey
December 28. Candles, 29. Cat, 30. Wondrous
I used some new water based acrylic paint markers for this Doodlewash Art Challenge. I wanted a light grey but the only light one was metallic so my cat is part metallic.
These are the markers, they are double ended.
Gelli Prints
Leaf print which I altered slightly in Photoshop.[I'm not sure how long I'll have Photoshop as it's going up in price so I'd better make the most of it while I've got it]
Another leaf gelli print, the first one is the original gelli print, then alterations in Photoshop using neural filters on the three below it.
Two gelli prints combined in Photoshop
The originals below
Did anyone eat turkey over the holidays?
They are quite beautiful apart from the blobby bits below the beak.
These were seen at Beamish Open Air Museum.
Enjoy your weekend.
The weather forecast says snow, rain, wind and cold here for the next few days.
I love that polar bear and those leaf prints. Happy 2025 to you also.

ReplyDeleteOhhhhh just stunning art. I love wild turkeys. We see a lot of them in my area. Thank you for joining FFO and have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteThe turkey's tail feathers make a beautiful fan.
ReplyDeleteThat poor bemused polar bear, wondering what to do with an outsized cream puff!
ReplyDeleteYou might want to look into the Gimp, if you want to move away from Photoshop. I don't know how different the interface is, so I can't tell you what the move will be like, but I've found it pretty usable, over the years..
Your polar bear is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
