Friday Catch Up - 17th April 2026

9. Kayak
Doodlewash Art Challenge / Friday face Off
10. Shells, 11. Grape Hyacinth
17. Bonnet
This wasn't a prompt, I decided to do my own thing. Quite a lot of the prompts are repeated and I didn't want to to do the same subject again. I'd been watching Big Cats 24/7 which inspired me to do this.

Photo Challenges
In March we spent a couple of days in Edinburgh, It's a nice place if you ever get a chance to go.
Closed as a church in 1952 this church is now Tron Kirk Market for local artists and crafters.
Love this little door and window
Seats in our hotel room, we were upgraded because it was my husband's birthday

Picture Consequences Drawing game which I played with the grandkids [sorry the photo is a bit rubbish] It's played by drawing a section (head, torso, legs), folding the paper, and passing it on
Flower of the Week
A shrub [Darwin's Barberry] in the garden which flowers at this time of the year
The weeks are flying by, hope you enjoy the coming  one

  10. I also enjoyed the paper-folding drawing game with small children.
My memories of Edinburgh are of rain-wet, dark and gloomy streets. I am glad to see it in a different light.
