Tiger in Acrylics, Watercolour Sketches and Sketchbook Revival

 Acrylic painting on canvas sheet.

I had a Utube video on at the same time I painted this. It was Angela Anderson who was painting a tiger and although I painted a different tiger I still picked up some tips.

Sketchbook Revival 2021 started yesterday.

The first video was with Danny Gregory and we had to use a number of different mediums using each for 1 minute to draw a shoe. This mini ornamental shoe was a gift from a friend visiting Dubai.
I used an aqua marker, flex marker, uni posca, uni posca metallic, inktense block [with water] and a mangaka flexible.

The second video was with Carla Sonheim and we did one-liner drawings, i.e. don't take your pen off until you finish the drawing. I used an altered book for the first drawings hence the strange background.

I picked two of the drawings and developed them into these. I used coloured pencils and marker pen.

Don't forget to check out Paint Party Friday, it's their 10th birthday!

  4. I think the one/liner drawings are interesting. Were you allowed to go back on the same line?
